Wine Through The Ages
$50.00 – $85.00
One of my first pieces of pottery was a goblet, large and heavy like this one, and I loved it, drinking from it, holding it and displaying it when not in use. Indeed it was early in my adult life so I coveted it. I have since learned that connoisseurs of wine would not drink from pottery but this does not take from the history of wine but rather reminds us that humans have been enjoying the fruit of the grape since early civilization. Modern times have taken the wine culture to a whole new level where there is considerable growth and exploration in this industry. Wine has a way of bringing together community and enlivining conversation, maybe in some cases even deepening it.
Consider the two wine pieces side by side as representing wine through the ages.
